Abstract
The evolution of financial technology has revolutionized financial services, offering innovative solutions for seamless transactions and digital finance. However, financial literacy plays a crucial role in shaping individuals’ ability to navigate these technological advancements effectively. This study explores the relationship between financial literacy and fintech adoption among university students, emphasizing their perceptions, readiness, and challenges in engaging with digital financial tools. Through structured surveys and factor analysis, the research identifies key determinants influencing fintech adoption, including financial knowledge, trust in technology, and behavioural attitudes. Findings suggest that higher financial literacy correlates with increased fintech confidence and adoption rates. Additionally, financial education programs tailored to fintech-specific literacy can bridge knowledge gaps and foster greater financial inclusion. The study contributes to the discourse on digital financial ecosystems by advocating for integrated financial education strategies that enhance students' preparedness for fintech innovations.
